If I am not enrolled in our medical plan, can I still sign up for an FSA?

Yes. Any employee who is eligible for benefits can enroll in an FSA Account, regardless of whether or not you are enrolled in our medical plan.
 

How does Medicare work with our plan?

As long as you are actively at work, your medical coverage through Standard Motor Products is your primary coverage. Even if if your spouse is eligible for Medicare, you can still keep them on our plan, which will be primary.
 

Does the Explanation of Benefits (EOB) still come in the mail or do I have to get them online?

Anthem will send an EOB to you and to the provider any time they receive a bill for services rendered to you or one of your dependents. You can always obtain the most up to date information about your claim by logging on to Anthem.com.
 

If my child, younger than 26 is married, can I put his family on our insurance?

If your child is under the age of 26 and is married, you can still cover your child on our plan. Your child’s spouse, children or in-laws are not eligible to be on our plan.
 

If my child, younger than 26, has a job that offers benefits, I still enroll them on our plan?

Yes. Any biological or adopted child or a child that a court has deemed you legally responsible, under the age of 26 is eligible to be covered on our medical, dental or vision plan.
