Standard Motor Products aims to accommodate its employees by offering them the best benefits available. To provide quicker medical assistance, SMP employees have access to doctors virtually through both Teladoc and LiveHealth Online.

Teladoc

Teladoc is offered to SMP employees as part of your enrollment in the medical plan. Doctors are now available nationwide on Teladoc 24/7, day or night with just a call or click away. Whether you’re inquiring about a flu, a cough or even a sinus infection, Teladoc licensed doctors and pediatricians are available at your disposable by phone or video call from wherever you are.

Additionally, your Teladoc services provide free access to mental health care or any medical concerns you may have including skin conditions like eczema, acne, psoriasis and more. You can get your diagnosis, treatment and/or prescription virtually while avoiding potential high cost and long wait times at the ER.

To access your Teladoc, download the app to create an account, update your medical history and connect to a doctor.

LiveHealth Online

LiveHealth Online helps facilitate employees access to the care they need when they need it. Employees can see a board-certified doctor or psychiatrist, licensed therapist or lactation consultant by using a smart phone, tablet or computer with a webcam as part of their enrollment in one of SMP medical plans.

Employees have 24/7 access to English and Spanish speaking board-certified doctors with no appointments required or long wait times. In addition to medical advice, prescriptions are also available to the pharmacy of your choice based on the physician’s judgment. You can either talk to a licensed therapist or board-certified psychiatrist online or set up an in person visit in just four (4) days or less. All future moms needing breastfeeding support can also have live visits with a lactation consultant, counselor or registered dietitian experienced in giving lactation support and nutrition.

LiveHealth Online appointments are at zero cost for employees enrolled in SMP PPO plan. However, employees enrolled in SMP HSA Health plan will be charged based on their visits that will go towards their deductibles. All employees must sign up with LiveHealth Online to access those benefits.
